I'm not too proud to beg....

Dear readers, if you find the information in this blog worthwhile, even exemplary -- if you think this blog is among the best sexuality blogs -- please nominate it (and me) here for the Top 100 Sexiest Bloggers of 2011 award given by Rori at Between My Sheets and her sex-savvy panel of judges.

Last year this blog was ranked #10 of the top 100. It was the only one about senior sex, which made me especially proud.

Although I see that I've been nominated already, a few more nominations would let the judges see that we seniors, boomers, and elders value a blog about the sexual and sex-related issues that concern our age group specifically.

So, if you care to showcase our place in the sexuality blogosphere, please go here and tell them that Joan Price, blogger at (aka gets your nomination. You can nominate several blogs at the same time.

I'm not allowed to nominate my own blog -- but I am allowed to beg!

Thank you!

  1. Joan, I sent a email nomination for your blog. I told Rori that I find it funny, informative and hopeful. Also I'm glad to know I'm not expected to cut myself off from pleasure when I hit 60. That's only 2 months away.

  2. When I checked Between My Sheets, I'd seen that you've already been nominated three times, so congrats! I love your blog and hope you continue writing these excellent articles! I'm far from a senior myself, but I love perspective you bring (don't tell anyone, but yours are the only sex toy reviews I find interesting enough to read!) and your enthusiasm for sex ed. If you ever have a little extra time for a guest post on my blog, I'd love to hear your take on anything you've been itching to write about!

My readers and I appreciate your thoughtful comments. Please share your views! Comments are moderated, so yours will not appear until I approve it. I'm not censoring your ideas, but I am deleting commercial messages and testimonials for penis enlargement, erectile magic, sex toys / retailers that I do not endorse, escort services, and so on.

If you're a reader who wants to exchange views and experiences, I welcome you. Some people have reported problems commenting. If this happens to you, please email your comment (with the name under which you want it posted) to, and I can post it for you.

Retailers please note: I delete comments that attempt to hijack my readers to a commercial site. If you want to advertise, contact me at

Authors, therapists and sex educators who have helpful information for readers are welcome to post links to their sites.
