I don't fault these women themselves, rather the image they represent. Like, these are the only significant females who are also attractive and sexual. What a bunch of horse manure.

If anthropologists from some other planet were looking at our movies today, they might hypothesize that Earth women only live to be 30 something, whereas men live much longer, and that somehow there is this preponderance of blonde hair and very skinny bodies among females only.

Those reporters need to learn some manners, open their minds, and respect their elders enough not to make these comments. And perhaps take a long look in the mirror before they go dissing other people's looks. It takes one to know one.

Everyone has their taste, and beauty is so much in the eye of the beholder. Everyone is beautiful to someone!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17568814.post-38393800737204263642007-06-22T06:58:00.000-07:002007-06-22T06:58:00.000-07:00I personally know several of the women who posed (...I personally know several of the women who posed (some are actually family). Without exception they are well respected members of the community who did it mostly for fun and the Historical Society. They was no alterior motive. Was it just for the good of the cause, or was there something more? What was the personal story?

What is it all about, people getting nude for peace or as fund raising? It fits into the mainstream of the culture -- who can knock a calendar? So they join practicality with courage.

Why not? Mix things up!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
